S P2024-11-21 Going private to speed up my adhd diagnosis after being on NHS waiting list for years was one of the best decisions I’ve made in my life, and to go through the process with ADHD clinics, a smaller, more personalised team of professionals, was also a very good decision. The process has been prompt, caring, and thorough, and everyone I have met and interacted with throughout has been sensitive and helpful. Couldn’t recommend anywhere more for those in the same situation as me, at their wits end and in need of a solution. Thank you! Rebecca Chaudhry2024-11-13 ADHD Clinics are an excellent care provider and I can’t recommend them more, if you’re thinking of undergoing assessment for ADHD. From the start, the process was smooth—I was offered a consultation via Zoom with a consultant psychiatrist within a week or two of contacting the clinic. Nikki in the office is incredibly kind and helpful—she replies to all emails within 24 hours, often out of office hours. I initially met with Dr Barratshaw via Zoom, who was incredibly thorough and easy to talk to. The entire experience felt more like a collaborative conversation rather than the intimidating medical interview I was worried about. Before the assessment, my husband, parents, and I filled out paperwork about my mental health and behaviour history, which was surprisingly helpful; even just completing the paperwork gave me a bit more insight into myself. I left the session feeling really hopeful—like I finally had some clarity, and honestly just wish I’d sought help sooner. After receiving my official diagnosis and a written report the following week, I had a follow-up appointment with Dr Chaudhary, to discuss medication options. Dr Chaudhary was extremely personable and informative and we discussed at length which treatment might work best for me along with dosage and potential side effects. He answered any questions I had and I felt like my thoughts were really considered by him in coming to a decision regarding medication. Since I’m not local to the clinic, Nikki posted my prescription to me the following day via Special Delivery. The clinic is extremely thorough before commencing any treatment—I had to have blood tests and an ECG with my GP, which was reassuring. I have another medication review in a few weeks to discuss how my treatment is going and make any amendments to dosage etc. It’s great knowing there’s a supportive team just an email away if I need anything. Overall, my experience with ADHD Clinics has been wonderful. The service is professional, compassionate and straightforward. They’ve delivered everything in an incredibly reasonable timeframe—about five weeks from my initial contact to diagnosis and initial treatment. The assessment isn’t cheap (although is very competitively priced vs other clinics), but with current NHS mental health waiting lists in mind, and the impact that a diagnosis and successful treatment can have on your life, I feel as though the process is 100% worth it and was an empowering and positive experience from start to finish. A2024-10-19 I can't recommend this service enough. If you have been struggling with ADHD symptoms like myself then definitely go with this clinic if you've got the funds (and they're cheaper than other options too!). There are so many things I've experienced throughout my life that finally make sense after being diagnosed and treated. Dr Chaudhary has been very professional & empathetic to my concerns. I will be forever grateful for the excellent service provided by the team, especially Nikki who has always gone the extra mile to be helpful even after hours. Dr Chaudhary displayed a wealth of knowledge on the subject and held our interest for the duration. Highly recommended yasmine2024-10-12 Very informative session. Useful to hear own clinical experiences. Plenty of opportunities for questions Louisa Henshaw2024-10-08 For a very long time I had struggled to admit that I may have ADHD, but through my first year at uni my life being undiagnosed was becoming unbearable and dangerous. When I opened up to my family I was nervous about the waiting times through the NHS as I felt that I was at a point where I might not be able to continue and cope with life if I didn’t get this diagnosis. However, my dad had heard about the clinic through a friend and we decided to enquire. I spoke to Nikki through email and after some discussion I was put through to Dr Munshi who took my assessment. I was diagnosed in June 2024 and started Elvanse medication in the July. Writing this in the October, I can tell you that it has changed my life. I am able to live, to function, to spend time with my friends and experience the uni life I have always wanted. There was some hard time but the clinic was always there for me when I needed them, emails were always responded to within the hour and I felt comfortable with Dr Munshi during the prescription sessions to discuss what I was feeling. I understand, private diagnosis are expensive but the clinic offers an excellent service and a personalised care plan for you. I cannot recommend them enough, well and truly changed my life ❤️ Wyvinar2024-08-13 Quick, but expensive.
