Lianne Edwards has over 12 years experience working as a registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) in both NHS and independent sector adult mental health settings. These include Prisons, forensic, inpatient, the community and in addition she has over 20 years experience of working within the substance misuse field.

Lianne is currently working in the NHS in the role of Consultant Nurse in Mental Health Rehabilitation working across both inpatient and community settings.

During her career Lianne has had the opportunity to engage in continued professional development and gain practical experience in areas of specialist interest which include substance misuse and mental health and neurodevelopmental disorders.

Lianne is committed to understanding the daily challenges of people diagnosed with ADHD and supporting them to manage these through contributing to the provision of treatment ADHD Clinics offer. Lianne’s’ role within ADHD clinics is to provide reviews of care and treatment and prescribe ADHD treatment during the titration and stabilisation periods.

Lianne has a proven history of supporting adults with mental health and other complex challenges, she is known for her empathic and non-judgmental approach, creating a safe space for open discussions where patients know they are listened to and understood.

Lianne is passionate about patient care and believes that through collaborative working that people are able to make and sustain significant changes in their lives.
