I'm female, 53yrs and had been suspecting ADHD for some time. I'd like to share my review in case it helps anyone who might be wondering about looking into a diagnosis. Firstly, it was very straightforward to arrange an appointment with one of the consultant psychiatrists. Dr Qureshi immediately put me at ease and took the time to listen carefully. I never felt rushed and always felt that my concerns and experiences were taken seriously. The clinic letters were sent promptly after appointments and were thorough and an accurate reflection of what we covered. Dr Qureshi was approachable, kind and professional. He has a gentle sense of humour that helped me feel more relaxed. He also provided links to additional resources. I started medication following their "start low, go slow" approach. Prescriptions have been issued promptly and I have never experienced any problems. The admin support really has been excellent. Every email I have sent has received a prompt and helpful response. In particular, I'd mention like to mention Nikki, who has been so responsive and efficient. The service overall has been professional, well organised and very responsive at every stage, and I've felt confident in the care provided. The transition to shared care with my GP has also been smooth thankfully, so now I order repeat prescriptions through my GP without any issues. I first contacted ADHD Clinics back in 2023 when I was 47 and feeling very confused, overwhelmed and unsure about where to start. I had spent a long time trying to understand myself, and the idea of going through an ADHD assessment felt quite scary at first. From the beginning, ADHD Clinics made the whole process feel much easier and far less intimidating. Nikki was great with me, very kind, responsive and really helpful over email, which made such a difference when I was already feeling anxious about everything. I saw Dr Munshi, who was incredibly patient, genuine and understanding. I felt properly listened to, seen and heard throughout the assessment, and that meant a huge amount to me. He took the time to explain things clearly and made the whole experience feel calm and reassuring. I honestly can’t recommend ADHD Clinics highly enough. They made something that initially felt quite overwhelming feel simple, supportive and manageable. I am enormously grateful to Dr Chauhury who has been very kind and helpful in dealing with with my son. Dr Chaudhary has been very clear in his communications and when my son had some problems he was really helpful and responsive. He answered all our questions and more.
